AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Texas Longhorns women's basketball locker room went from 0 to 100 real quick Tuesday.Drake stopped in to surprise the team with a visit while he was in town for his ‘It’s All a Blur’ tour, playing two shows at the Moody Center with 21 Savage this week. Austin was a late addition to the tour, as the Capital City wasn't originally on the list of stops. MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Moreau man pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a hit-and-run case dating back to February of 2022 in South Glens Falls. Around 7:40 p.m. on February 26, 2022, police said Paul Trombley, 67, of South Glens Falls, was fatally struck by a vehicle in the area of Main and 5th Streets. AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Amsterdam man was arrested on Wednesday following a burglary investigation at a concession stand at Isabel's Field in Amsterdam. Derek Kaai, 33, is charged with third-degree burglary. Get the latest news, weather, and sports delivered right to your inbox! The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says an investigation began on Monday after it was found someone broke into the concession stand and stole items and money inside. Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, along with the Amsterdam Police, actively pursued leads that were provided and generated through the investigation. Their investigation led them to Kaai. Deputies say this is an active investigation and more charges may be pending as a second suspect is still being sought. ST. LOUIS - A northern Missouri man faces federal charges after he allegedly recorded himself having sex with a minor. Prosecutors have charged Russell Alan Pirkey, 52, of Linn County, with sexual exploitation of a child and accessing with intent to view child pornography in the investigation. According to a federal indictment, Pirkey coerced a minor into engaging in sexually explicit conduct in April with the intent to record it on video. The indictment accuses Pirkey of his cell phone to record himself having sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl. Father of teen killed in crash wants more transparency from police Pirkey is also accused of accessing child pornography between Jan. 1 and April 8, 2023, per the indictment. Before his federal charges, he was jailed in Linn County. If convicted, Pirkey could face up to 50 years in prison and $500,000 in fines for both charges.
