2 pedestrians seriously injured in crash DENVER (KDVR) -- A crash involving two pedestrians and a motorist resulted in serious injuries Saturday morning in Denver's Hampden neighborhood, according to the Denver Police Department.The crash happened in the area of East Dartmouth Avenue and South Willow Street near Hamilton Middle School.The pedestrians were both taken to a local hospital with injuries.The driver stayed on the scene.Hampden Avenue was closed at Willow Street. Police said people should expect delays.

A deadly hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in south St. Louis ST. LOUIS - An investigation is underway after a driver struck a pedestrian Friday evening in a south St. Louis. The crash happened around 6 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Gravois and Nebraska avenues near the border of the Benton Park West and Tower Grove East neighborhoods. Authorities say the victim suffered massive head trauma and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Where they were they later died from their injuries. Young woman killed, man wounded in Sun Valley drive-by shooting Editor's note: The story has been updated to correct the genders of the victims.A 19-year-old woman was killed and a 20-year-old man wounded in a drive-by shooting during the early-morning hours in Sun Valley Saturday.Police say the victims were entering their vehicle around 1:20 a.m. in the 11100 block of Lorne Street when four male suspects approached in a vehicle. One of the males pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds at the victims before the suspect vehicle sped off in an unknown direction, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed. Arriving officers found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The woman was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
